WHEN Eddie and I started our endeavor that is Nu Soul Records, the world was a very different place. Coronavirus was in full effect. The streets were bare. Toilet paper was as precious as gold. We lost many lives, and people were indoors. An idea to make music for large format fesivals and to hobnob with our peers in Amsterdam fell by the wayside. Now, the doors are opening, people are frollicking to bars and festivals and rooftops to dance the night (and day) all over the world.
But there is a facion of people for which the music has stopped. The mirth and lightheartedness have gone, replaced by terrifying happenings and devastating scenes playing out in real time.
